CONSIGLI ITALIAN KNIFEMAKER - OLD ITALIAN KNIVES Consigli is devoted from at least two decades to the production of typical knives of the Italian tradition, painstakingly following the traditional manufacturing canons. His knives are unanimously recognised, in their genre, as the best currently available in Europe. The Historic Knives collection is the most precious and dense with meanings. Each piece is infused with symbolic significance closely connected with the social and cultural environment in which it was produced and used. Consigli has always sought the attention to detail. The painstaking workmanship and the quality of the materials that characterise the knife are brought to the extreme of perfection in this production, composed of unique pieces of elevated artistic value, made specially on commission for each individual customer. The faithfulness to the traditional models is revealed in the richness of the decorations of both, the blades, engraved or in Damascus steel, and the handles that Consigli realizes from precious materials rich of inlays worked patiently and entirely by hand.
